今天我想要分享的是一种基于概念积累英语表达法的英语精读方法。我可能后面会抽时间展开来细说。
一、我的设备
我有一部iPhone 15 pro max和一台M2 pro款MacBook Pro。曾经拥有过iPad Pro，现在在考虑入手官方认证翻新12.9寸iPad Pro
二、为什么用marginnote4进行精读
其实最主要的原因是marginnote整合了anki的很多功能，并且会出iPhone版，比较方便在iPhone上进行间隔式的计划复习。还有就是marginnote4的留白功能可以比较好的记录不需要记忆但舍不得放弃的笔记。
三、基于概念积累英语表达法的案例（Pumas are large, cat-like animals)
我虽然很多年前英语专业毕业，但我一直没有放弃英语精读的练习。而我使用的阅读材料是新概念英语。这个教材的好处和优势我以后抽时间展开来讲。今天我就说一个练习的小例子。
当我看到Pumas are large, cat-like animals这句话后，我会先提取这里面的核心概念，注意，是概念，不是词汇/词性。比如large，提取出来是BIG或者更进一步，SIZE，cat-like则变成SIMILAR，LIKE等
在这个基础上，我便开始查询一系列工具书，包括longman activator，oxford collocation，roget’s international thesaurus等。然后会做在一张卡片里。变成下面这样

也就是找到能够表达这个概念的表达法，然后放在卡片背面。
接下来就是复习时候只看原文的这个句子，做两层回忆。第一层回忆对标的概念，第二层回忆有哪些表达细则可以对应到这个概念。
比如，要表达“similar”，“like”，除了有similar to，look like，还可以说remind sb of，reminiscent of等。同时，还可以进一步找表达相反概念的表达法，从而只需要加一些副词就能使用。比如different from加个hardly就可以反过来表达相似性。这里面最重要的就是不要被语法束缚了。如果你只是找-like的近义词是很难拓展的，利用好activator这本工具书作为引子，你可以顺藤摸瓜进行拓展。可以自然找到和联想到bear resemblance to， closely resemble等不同形式的表达法。
以上这些只是短语层面的练习。我先抛砖引玉一下，后续我整理完整的长篇哈。
